Industrial Fitting Process

Step1- Ear Inspection
The ear is inspected with an otoscope to make sure there are no contra indications to the fitting process such as infection or excessive wax.

Step 2 Ear Preparation
A cotton or foam block is placed in the ear canal at an appropriate depth.

Step 3 Fitting Process
The Insta-Mold silicone is placed into a silicone syringe, injected into the ear canal, and molded to the outside of the ear. Anchors and Cords can be inserted at this time. The cured silicone mold is removed in about 6-8 minutes, finishing the fitting process.

Step 4 Earplug Finishing
The earplug is trimmed to the appropriate length and buffed to remove rough edges. Each plug is sealed with our Clear-Seal Silicone coating to provide a longer lasting, cleaner and more precise fitting ear protector.

Step 5 Ear Plug delivery and Employee Use & Care Training
Each employee is trained to properly insert, remove, and care for their custom molded earplugs. Each set is delivered in a storage pouch with printed use & care instructions
